Cedars-Sinai Spine Center in Los Angeles has been named one of six Hall of Fame Health Spine Elite Care Centers nationwide. The center is represented within the network by J. Patrick Johnson, MD, a member of the Hall of Fame Health Spine Advisory Board.
Hall of Fame Health coordinates healthcare services for a community that includes former professional athletes, collegiate athletes and alumni, combat veterans, and their families. Its Spine Elite Care Center Network connects patients with leading institutions and specialists experienced in treating back and neck pain, spinal conditions, and neurological disorders.
Cedars-Sinai was one of five institutions added to the network in July 2026, joining the Carrell Clinic in Dallas, the inaugural Spine Elite Care Center. According to Hall of Fame Health, participating centers were selected based on clinical outcomes, patient experience, and institutional leadership in spine care.

The network is overseen by the Hall of Fame Health Spine Advisory Board, which helps guide the development and credentialing of participating centers across the country. Dr. Johnson serves on the advisory board alongside spine specialists representing leading medical institutions in Dallas, Charlotte, New York, Phoenix, and Tampa.
The expansion of the network is supported by Medtronic, which provides expertise and industry knowledge in neurosurgical and spinal technology. Hall of Fame Health emphasizes that the use of Medtronic technology is not a factor in selection and that institutions cannot purchase an Elite Care Center designation.
Cedars-Sinai’s selection recognizes the Spine Center’s leadership in advanced, multidisciplinary spine care and expands access to its specialists through Hall of Fame Health’s national network.
